Who we are

LifeWorkDays (lifeworkdays.com) is a personal finance education tool. It is operated as a solo project. Questions can be sent to reports@lifeworkdays.com.

What data we collect

The tool runs entirely in your browser. Your financial inputs (income, expenses, categories) are never sent to our servers — they stay on your device and in your browser's local storage.

If you choose to enter your email address to receive your report, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your savings rate range (e.g. "20–35%") — anonymised
• Whether you opted in to occasional email insights

We do not collect your exact income, expense amounts, or category details via email submission.

How we use your data

• Email address: used to send you your personalised report. If you opted in, also used to send occasional financial education content. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Savings rate range: used anonymously to understand our audience. Never linked back to your identity.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Brevo (Sendinblue) — email delivery. Your email address is stored in Brevo to send your report. Brevo Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare Workers — processes your email submission. No financial data is stored. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (page visits, report opens). No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.
• Meta Pixel — anonymous visit tracking for potential future advertising. No financial data is shared with Meta.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your inputs between sessions. This data never leaves your device. We do not use tracking cookies of our own. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may set their own cookies for anonymous analytics.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your email address from our systems
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
• Object to processing

Data retention

Your email address is retained in Brevo for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.
